Motivational fitness quotes Too cold, too rainy, not enough time, no energy after work, favourite show on TV, the pub is just around the corner – I hear ya, we’ve all been there. Excuses that stop us from working out are endless  and even the most dedicated and disciplined of us (not me) can succumb to these demotivating, procrastination driven thoughts. So how do you stay motivated to exercise? When I feel lazy to go for a run or do a pilates class, I think about how amazing I will feel once I complete a workout and how guilty I will feel if I don’t do it at all. Think about it, do you ever regret a choice to exercise? The key is to make that choice and to commit to it.

Another way I like to get motivated, to do anything really, is with powerful, motivatioanl quotes and phrases. It’s really dorky, I know, but I am cool with it because I know many others do it too. We all search and save our favourite fitness, career, life and relationships quotes.  I wanted to put together some fun, motivational fitness quotes to help you roll off the couch and get your sweat on. Remember, we’re designed to be physically active and it is our mind that holds us back most of the time. The hardest part is making it to the park, the gym, or the pool and once there, the action happens naturally. So do it now because sometimes ‘later’ become never (I wish that was my quote but it’s not).

    Thanks a lot for this post! I’m a Taekwondo player … and I found myself all alone today having to do my training on my own. Add house chores + PMS and that’s the end of the workout! But amazingly your post pushed through all that and I’m on my feet!

  • Gut health mission! The last two months have been busy, a little stressful and filled with various indulgencies, lots of flying and not having a routine. This often (more like 100% of the time) leads to disrupted gut flora and generally poor gut health, which in turn compromises out immune system. 😷😰😣 So on top of getting my diet back to normal (I eat mostly paleo) and getting into my usual sleeping and fitness routine, I'm stocking up on probiotics. I made a batch of kefir (way too easy) and got some ready made raw sauerkraut (I should really make my own but that's for next week). If you feel like you often come down with colds, flu or just feeling off, look at your gut health first.
