Eat Drink Paleo is most and foremost a personal journey for me as a cook and as a follower of paleo diet and lifestyle . My mission is to provide inspiration and tools to people who want to achieve better health and wellbeing through Paleo nutrition and lifestyle; to showcase the diversity of Paleo diet using our beautiful fresh produce and flavours inspired by many cultures and cuisines; and to help unleash your magical powers in the kitchen.

BUT

Although I have a strong interest in health, nutrition and fitness and I consider myself very knowledgable in many wellbeing topics,  I am not a qualified doctor, dietician or nutritionist. Information provided on Eat Drink Paleo website and all associated communication channels should not be taken as a medical advice. I use and share information from credible sources but any opinions expressed by me on this site are derived from my personal experience cooking, eating and living paleo.

Paleo lifestyle and nutrition works for me but everyone is different and should take diligent care when changing their diet and lifestyle. Make sure to consult a medical professional before undertaking a new diet or exercise regime.

    Hi Irena,

    Great site, you really add a lot of colour to paleo, with the perception of paleo in Australia as just meat on a bone, its great to see so many recipes with great colour. I would love to interview you and have a feature on you on my site. Please email me and let me know. Lets spread the paleo lifestyle in Australia.

    Your website is so great! I really thank you for your disclaimer though. I see too many people giving nutritional advice like they are health professionals and when someone asks them if they are RDs they get defensive. Thank you for your honesty and I can’t wait to try your recipes!

  • Gut health mission! The last two months have been busy, a little stressful and filled with various indulgencies, lots of flying and not having a routine. This often (more like 100% of the time) leads to disrupted gut flora and generally poor gut health, which in turn compromises out immune system. 😷😰😣 So on top of getting my diet back to normal (I eat mostly paleo) and getting into my usual sleeping and fitness routine, I'm stocking up on probiotics. I made a batch of kefir (way too easy) and got some ready made raw sauerkraut (I should really make my own but that's for next week). If you feel like you often come down with colds, flu or just feeling off, look at your gut health first. Always helps me 😃 #guthealth #healthyeating #healthyliving #paleo #nourishing #kefir #jerf #westonaprice #fermentation

Great food but overpriced as you can get equally good grub much cheaper at the markets or in a street cafe. Paying for the aircon.
