Hello! My name is Irena and I am a published cookbook author, real food blogger and self-proclaimed nutrition geek.
I often get asked what my number one health and wellness tip is. Want to know what it is? I have a salad EVERY DAY.
Whether as its own meal or as a side, I make a conscious effort to inject a bowl of leafy greens and crunchy veggies into my body.
Experts say that eating salad every day may be one of the healthiest eating habits you can adopt, and one of the simplest. It’s a super-convenient way to include a couple of servings of vegetables and/or fruit into your meals; plus, all the fibre, vitamins and antioxidants.
I truly believe that eating one salad a day is an easy and delicious way to health and longevity. Try it!
SAY NO TO BORING SALADS
In case you’re imagining a bowl of lifeless iceberg lettuce, soggy cucumber and (if you’re lucky) some tasteless tomato slices, you need to know there is more to salads than THIS...

How do I download and open the eBook?
Argh, technology! Don't worry, I have created a page outlining simple yet detailed instructions on how to purchase, download and open my eBooks. Click here to learn more.
Salad A Day eBook comes in two formats: printable PDF eBook (for your laptop, iBooks, and to be viewed using any free PDF reader app on your device) and Kindle eBook (.mobi file that is made specifically for reading on Kindle devices). Here is a handy article on how to trasnfer non-Amazon Kindle eBooks to your Kindle device.
Will there be a printed book?
Due to my contractual obligations with my print book publishers, I can only self-publish digital products. For the time being, this recipe book only comes as an eBook but it has been designed in a way that makes it easy for you to print out at home (use A4 print paper).
I can't eat *insert food*. Will this recipe book suit me?
All recipes are gluten-free but some recipes have a little dairy (which can be omitted) or eggs (mostly in the mayonnaise based dressing which can be modified) and a few plant-based salads contain quinoa, white rice and fermented tempeh. All recipes can be modified to suit your dietary requirements. If you're not sure, you can download the recipe Index page here to see what's inside.
Can I do the 30-Day Salad A Day Challenge without buying the eBook?
